The original Baffler from Cobra Golf is generally regarded as the club that launched the hybrid category. The Baffler Rail Hybrid, or Rail H, is the 2010 model.

The Rail H does its forefathers proud. The high-strength steel face insert is designed to add about 10 percent more weight low and back on the club head to improve launch while leaving a nice open hitting face. The rail sole improves turf interaction, also.
Among Golf Magazine testers earlier this year, the Baffler Rail H Hybrid was among the highest-rated in its class. The vast majority of the testers said they would consider purchasing the club.
While some users were looking for a bit more forgiveness, most advanced users thought it hit the sweet spot of hitting ease and power and lift.
The Baffler Rail Hybrid club was praised for allowing shot-shaping with ease - in other words, its very versatile allowing for plenty of shot variety, a critical component for the serious user.
The hybrid golf club also got high marks for use as a driving iron for several mid-handicappers, adding that the relatively heavy feel of the club made it easy to control the clubhead through the swing and made for more repeatable strokes.
